Cannigione and northern Sardinia

Cannigione is a seaside town on the Gulf of Arzachena, giving you a quieter place to stay while keeping some of northern Sardinia’s best-known coastline close by. Start the morning by the water, head out for lunch around the marina and spend the afternoon finding a beach or cove along the coast. In the evening, choose somewhere for fresh seafood and a bottle of Vermentino, the white wine Sardinia is known for.

Days on the Costa Smeralda

This part of Sardinia is made for getting out and seeing a different stretch of coastline each day. Drive towards beaches such as Capriccioli or Spiaggia del Principe, stop around Porto Cervo for lunch or an evening drink, or head north towards Palau and join a boat trip through the La Maddalena islands. It works especially well for couples who like having a beautiful hotel to return to but still want plenty to discover beyond it.

Time together at the hotel

There will also be days when you do not need to go far. Spend the morning around the pool, book a massage or make time for the sauna, steam room and hammam before heading out for dinner later on. Beach service is available at nearby beach clubs with a complimentary hotel shuttle, so you can swap the pool for the sea without turning it into a full day of travelling.
