It’s one of my favourite European travel and honeymoon spots, with that perfect mix of beautiful islands, incredible food, stylish hotels and just the right amount of history and culture if you want it. The Greek Islands My Clients Love
From Santorini to Rhodes to Mykonos, I've been lucky to visit Greece a few times. There are so many islands to choose from, but a few come up again and again when I’m planning trips.
Santorini is iconic for a reason. Caldera views, whitewashed villages, sunset dinners and boat trips. It’s busy, but it’s also incredibly beautiful.
Mykonos is more lively and social, with beach clubs, great restaurants and that stylish, buzzy atmosphere.
Crete is a great all-rounder. Larger, more varied and ideal if you want a mix of beaches, culture and exploring.
Milos is one of my favourites for something a little different. Unique beaches and great for couples looking for something a bit less obvious.
Corfu is lush, green and a little different to the typical white-and-blue Greek island look and has some fab hotels.
One of the best things about Greece is how easy it is to go beyond the main islands. A short ferry from Santorini, for example, brings you to places like Folegandros and Sifnos
Quieter, slower-paced and just as beautiful. Island hopping is a great way to see different sides of Greece with multiple ferries during the summer season.

For me, Athens is Europe's most underrated capital city, but it’s well worth a couple of nights at the start or end of your trip.
The first time we visited, we stayed in Psyrri, a great central base, and packed a lot into a short stay. Highlights included the Acropolis (go early, it’s worth it for the views and to avoid the crowds), wandering through Plaka’s cobbled streets and browsing the mix of shops in Monastiraki and rooftop bars with views of the Parthenon. There are so many great restaurants too (Lithos was my favourite for delicious Greek food).
