Auckland – A City Between Volcanoes and Sea

Your adventure begins with four nights in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, set between twin harbours and volcanic hills. Staying at the Grand Millennium Auckland, you’ll have time to explore at your own pace.

Ride the lift to the top of the Sky Tower for panoramic views, wander through leafy parks, or hop on a ferry to Waiheke Island, known for its beaches and vineyards. In the evenings, stroll along Viaduct Harbour where sailboats bob against a backdrop of cafés and family-friendly restaurants, the perfect place to unwind together.

Rotorua – Geysers and Middle-earth

From Auckland, a full-day guided tour takes you through the glowworm-lit caves of Waitomo, where thousands of tiny lights sparkle like stars above your head, before continuing to Hobbiton, the much-loved film set from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Your journey ends in Rotorua, where four nights at the Regent of Rotorua await. Here, the earth comes alive with bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and the dramatic Pohutu Geyser create a landscape unlike anywhere else. Alongside nature’s power, you’ll discover rich Māori traditions through cultural performances and traditional feasts, offering an unforgettable introduction to New Zealand’s heritage.

The kids can splash in the lagoon-style pool or join the resort’s lively kids’ club, while parents enjoy golden sands, calm turquoise waters, or a cocktail at sunset.

Snorkel among coral reefs, paddle along the coast in a kayak, or simply relax beneath the palms. In the evenings, experience Fijian hospitality through cultural shows and a traditional lovo feast cooked beneath the earth, the perfect finale to your family holiday.
