A holiday is one of the biggest investments you'll make each year - not just financially, but in your time, annual leave, and the memories you'll create.

It's easy to be influenced by what you see online, on social media or by recommendations from friends and family – I’ve been that person too. But just because a destination, hotel or itinerary was perfect for someone else, doesn't mean it's the right choice for you.

Every traveller is different. The people you're travelling with are different. Your priorities are different.

Some people want to see and do as much as possible, and others want to slow down and completely switch off. Some families want adventure every day, while others need downtime built into the itinerary. Even if two people choose the same destination, the holiday they enjoy most can look completely different.

That's why every holiday I plan starts with a conversation.

Before recommending a destination, hotel or itinerary, I want to understand how you like to travel, what you enjoyed on previous holidays, what you'd do differently next time, and what's most important to you on this trip.

Those answers influence everything - from where you stay and how you get there, to the pace of the itinerary, and the experiences you'll enjoy along the way.

Researching a holiday online is certainly a great place to start, but knowing the questions to ask is what will help uncover the holiday that’s right for you. That's where I add value.
