Cruising into the Future ~ MSC World Europa
In September 2024, I had the exciting opportunity to sail aboard MSC World Europa as part of a travel advisor familiarisation trip, and from the moment I stepped on board, I was absolutely blown away.
As MSC Cruises first World-class ship, MSC World Europa is a bold leap into the future of cruising. She’s ultra-modern, eco-conscious, and packed with features that cater to families, couples, solo travellers, and groups alike. This trip gave me invaluable insight into what my clients can expect onboard, let me share my experience with you.
A Ship Designed to Impress The ship’s design is both futuristic and elegant. One of the standout features is the open-air World Promenade, a vibrant space with entertainment, ocean views, and an incredible LED dome that lights up each night. At the heart of it all is the Venom Drop @ The Spiral, an 11-deck dry slide that’s just as thrilling as it is iconic, and no, I didn’t, but I know many of you will love it!!
Cabin Comforts & Yacht Club Luxury Whether you're staying in a balcony cabin or opting for MSC’s Yacht Club (their premium “ship-within-a-ship” experience), the accommodations are thoughtfully designed with comfort, tech, and style in mind. For those wanting a more exclusive, all-inclusive experience, the Yacht Club is an outstanding choice, complete with butler service, a private lounge, and a dedicated pool deck.
Dining & Entertainment From tapas and tacos to fine dining and craft beer, the culinary variety onboard is impressive. With more than 30 bars and dining venues, there’s something for every taste. Butchers Cut was my favourite without a doubt. Entertainment is equally diverse, from high-energy theatre performances to live music and themed events around the ship. The World Explora Theatre and Panorama Lounge, located at opposite ends of the Ships had and unbelievable variety of entertainment, there really is something for everyone on board MSC World Europa
Sustainable Cruising What really stood out to me was MSC World Europa’s commitment to sustainability. Powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas), and equipped with state-of-the-art eco features, this ship is setting a new standard for greener cruising, something I personally, and more and more of us care deeply about.
