Bangkok
The journey starts in Bangkok, where you are met on arrival and taken by private transfer straight to a five star riverside resort on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. With three nights here, you have time to settle in and explore one of Asia’s most energetic cities. A hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus on your first full day helps you tick off the main landmarks at your own pace, from the Grand Palace and Wat Pho to Chinatown and the Mahanakhon Skywalk, while a guided e-scooter tour the following afternoon leads you through local neighbourhoods with street food stops along the way.

Chiang Mai
A short internal flight north brings you to Chiang Mai, a city with a gentler pace and a lush mountain backdrop. Set in a valley ringed by forested hills, the old city is framed by a moat and ancient walls, and its streets are lined with more than 300 temples. You will spend three nights at a well-located boutique hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, with time to wander the old town and night markets. A small group temple tour introduces you to key sites in and around the city, including Doi Suthep, the hilltop temple that looks out across the valley below.

Khao Lak
From Chiang Mai you fly south to Phuket, where a private transfer takes you an hour up the coast to Khao Lak. Here you spend seven nights at a four star beachside resort on a bed and breakfast basis, on a stretch of shoreline that feels quieter and greener than many of Thailand’s better known beach areas. Long sandy beaches, warm water and a relaxed setting make this a very easy place to slow down, with the option to add boat trips or simple evenings in nearby local restaurants.
