Soufrière and the Pitons

Soufrière is where St Lucia feels at its most dramatic, with rainforest-covered hills falling towards the sea and the twin Pitons rising above the coastline. Wake high in the mountains, head out early on the Tet Paul Nature Trail for views across the island, or visit Sulphur Springs to see the volcanic landscape that shaped this part of St Lucia.

Your first four nights are in a Petit Piton Suite at adults-only Ladera Resort, placing you right among the scenery rather than looking at it from a distance. Spend the afternoon by the pool, book a massage or head down towards Jalousie Beach for a swim between the Pitons before returning for dinner as the light changes over the mountains.

Morgan Bay

The second part of the honeymoon moves to Morgan Bay, where the Caribbean becomes the centre of the stay. Your Deluxe Swim Out King room gives you direct access to the water from your terrace, so you can slip into the pool before breakfast, come back for a late-afternoon swim or have a drink outside before getting ready for dinner.

With 10 All Inclusive nights here, there is time to enjoy the resort properly. Choose between Caribbean, French, Italian, Asian and Mexican flavours, spend an afternoon at the spa, or find your favourite spot by the beach and return to it whenever you like.

Days on the Caribbean

St Lucia is worth seeing from the water as well as the shore. Head out snorkelling, book a boat trip along the coast or try deep-sea fishing if you want a day with more adventure. Gros Islet is also close enough for an evening out when you feel like seeing more of the island.

And when you want to stay put, there is no shortage of reasons to. Swim, book a treatment together, linger over lunch or stay by the sea until sunset. After the mountain views and exploring around Soufrière, Morgan Bay gives the honeymoon a long Caribbean finish.
