New York
Start in Manhattan with three nights that give the trip instant energy. See New York from above at Top of the Rock, step inside Grand Central Terminal, browse Fifth Avenue, and spend time between MoMA, Rockefeller Center and the High Line. By evening, book a Broadway show, go for dinner in the West Village, or cross Brooklyn Bridge as the skyline lights up behind you. It is a short city break, but it gives you enough time to visit the places people dream about before the trip slows down by the Caribbean Sea.
Turks and Caicos
The seven-night beach stay is in Long Bay on Providenciales, the main island of Turks and Caicos. This is the Caribbean people picture when they think of pale sand, clear blue water and long days by the sea, but with a quieter, more luxurious feel than many larger island destinations.
Long Bay is known for its wide beach, calm shallow water and kiteboarding, so even a quiet beach day gives you something to watch on the water. Around the island, you can look at adding reef snorkelling, a boat trip to nearby cays, or time at sea where turtles, rays and colourful reef fish are the reward for getting out on the water.
Food is another reason to get excited. Turks and Caicos is known for conch, from cracked conch to fresh conch salad, along with grilled lobster, snapper, grouper and peas n’ rice. It gives the beach stay more than just sand and sea, with local seafood, warm evenings and plenty of reasons to slow down over lunch by the water.
