LUX* Grand Gaube

LUX* Grand Gaube sits on a peninsula on Mauritius’ north coast, with two beaches, tropical gardens and the Indian Ocean all around you. Spend the morning by the water, then head to the adults-only Banyan area when you want somewhere quieter, or book time in the spa for a massage or treatment. You can also join yoga, Pilates or meditation sessions, or play a game of tennis before heading back to the beach.

Food and evenings

There is plenty to look forward to once the sun starts to go down. Try Peruvian fusion at INTI, have Turkish dishes at Bodrum Blue with views across the ocean, or eat by the beach at Beach Rouge. Later, stop by the Rum Treehouse, try something local at the Creole Smokehouse or have a drink at the French Kiss Bar. It gives you a good mix of places to choose from without needing to leave the resort every night.

Beyond the resort

When you do want to head out, Grand Gaube is close by and gives you a look at everyday life on the north coast, while Grand Baie has more restaurants, shops and a livelier waterfront. You can also get out on the water with a catamaran trip, speedboat ride or scuba diving, which is a great way to see more of the lagoons and coastline around this part of Mauritius.
