Legend of the Seas
Legend of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon Class ships, built for families who want the ship to feel like part of the destination. The Surfside Family View Balcony cabin works well for a family of four, with a balcony overlooking one of the ship’s family areas and easier access to dining, splash zones and children’s spaces. It suits younger families, teens, first-time cruisers and multi-generational groups who want Mediterranean ports by day and plenty to enjoy on board afterwards.

Pools, Slides and Days On Board
The ship has Royal Caribbean’s largest waterpark at sea, with six slides including racing slides, raft rides and drop-style rides. There are also seven pools, 10 whirlpools, a splash park for younger children, a surf simulator, mini golf, rock climbing and an over-water aerial obstacle course high above the ocean.

Entertainment
Evenings are a major reason to choose Legend of the Seas. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brings the story of Willy Wonka to the main theatre as a full musical, while America’s Got Talent LIVE is a fast-moving variety show with singers, dancers, magicians and speciality acts. The ship also has high-diving and acrobatic water shows in the AquaTheater, ice-skating performances, live music, comedy and late-night entertainment, so there is something different to look forward to after days ashore.

Food, Dining and Bars
Dining is varied enough to work across the whole week. Families can keep it casual with poolside bites, food-hall style dining, pizza, tacos, burgers, crêpes and buffet-style choices. Other evenings can feel more special with steakhouse dining, sushi, hibachi, seafood, Italian-style dishes and immersive dining experiences. Adults have plenty of places for drinks too, from poolside bars and pre-show cocktails to quieter lounges after dinner.

Kids’ Clubs and Family Space
Children and teens have spaces designed around them, not just activities added onto an adult ship. Younger children can join age-appropriate clubs with games, creative activities and supervised sessions, while teens have places to meet, play games and spend time with others their age. Surfside keeps family dining, splash areas and relaxed spaces close together, making the ship easier to enjoy with children while still giving adults proper restaurants, bars and entertainment.
