Caribbean Vibes
Our short stay at the Royalton Saint Lucia - an Autograph Collection resort was located very close to Rodney Bay Marina. This resort really has something for everyone including couples and families and boast 11 restaurants and 13 bars no less and is situated on a beautiful quiet cove. I was delighted to be staying in the Hideaway Adults Only Area overlooking Smugglers Cove in a stunning Oceanview Junior Suite. It was perfection!
During our stay on St Lucia we visited Stolen Time by Rendezvous (one of my firm favorites by far), East Winds, Harbour Club by Hilton, Green Fig Resort & Spa (very different quirky type property). I was also really thrilled to visit the very premium properties of Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain. Jade Mountain stands majestically with unobstructed views of the iconic Pitons and the vast Caribbean Sea—designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A very unique resort which we reached via speedboat. Our final inspections were to Cap Maison, a truly beautiful boutique style resort and then the Windjammer Landing. I really LOVED this one and where a season of Desperate Housewives of LA was filmed no less, not to mention a lot of well known celebrities whom frequent it repeatedly. If it's good enough for them then it's good enough for me as they say.
We enjoyed some free time Ziplining in the Rainforests, had a Sulphur Mud Bath experience and my absolute highlight the Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party. A really excellent way to enjoy the people and culture of Gros Islet. Street food and drinks choice galore, the vendors, the arts and crafts and of course the music was simply FAB. We all really enjoyed it. So different!!
St Lucia is continually recognised as one of the Leading Wedding and Honeymoon destinations worldwide. It really has a wide range of accommodations including world-class five-star resorts, all-inclusive resorts, intimate inns and value-oriented properties. Saint Lucia is also home to world class cruise and yachting facilities. If you think St Lucia or any of the Caribbean islands are for you then please feel free to get in touch - I have been to quite a few of the islands now which is great for comparisons and evaluating which island will work best for you and your budget too of course.
