Ultra-luxe Indulgence at OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI

Launched to great acclaim in December 2020, OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI offers full-on luxury with a focus on wellness – it embraces a fabulous overwater spa employing ancient Ayurvedic healing techniques and island-produced coconut oil to leave you feeling soothed and ready to enjoy your tropical-island paradise. Tucked away in a corner of the South Malé Atoll, it’s far from anything, for a truly remote feel, yet also just a zippy 20-minute luxury catamaran from the international airport at Malé. Alternatively, snag yourself the resort’s 25m superyacht for the ultimate in getting away from it all.

Hear From A Guest

"I was so lucky in January to stay at OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI. having opened in December 2020 it was so good to see it in person. From the airport lounge, to the luxury transfers, just to arrive in turquoise waters and be pampered was such a delight!

The island was overwhelming, the food was the best I have had anywhere in the world, the Champagne was on tap, and the beauty of the island was breathtaking, and of course no bill at the end

The 'plan' on the island is a complete offering, with spa treatments, transfers and world class à la carte dining included it makes for a superbly relaxed stay.

My personal favourite was choosing a beach that suits you. With your villa bikes you can explore the island and take a dip wherever you choose. Favourite dining is a hard one; ORIGINE was a wine pairing, gastronomic delight and yet Tradition Saffron brought so many flavours. Breakfast on the beach at Vista del Mar is where my mind is every breakfast time - it cannot be beaten, take me back NOW!"

Wellbeing and Activities

Windsurfing, SUP paddle-boarding, kayaking and other non-motorised water sports are all included in your package, and you can grab a snorkel, mask and flippers any time you’re in the mood to check out the magical marine life that inhabits the surrounding waters. Then there are the resort’s own bikes for exploring the island at your own pace, while junior guests get their own Treasure Trail to discover local plant- and wildlife while dressed up as pirates. And there’s even an ice rink for those who thought they’d seen it all when it comes to Maldives resorts.

And open-air yoga sessions allow you to be caressed by balmy Indian Ocean breezes while you stretch your weary limbs.

Drinking and Dining

OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI’s five à la carte restaurants offer a variety of cuisines based on the freshest of ingredients taken from the chefs’ own garden with its organic produce including herbs and micro-greens. Signature restaurant Origine focuses on the finest seafood sourced from around the world, paired with vintages from a spectacular wine library, and with world-class cognac and cigar collections. Tradition Saffron serves classic Indian cuisine, while toes-in-the-sand Sangu Beach offers authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and, late into the night, live music and performances by resident artists.

Accommodation

Utter seclusion is assured in OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI’s 90 villas and suites, all of which have their own pool and direct beach or lagoon access: you can choose from overwater or beachfront settings. The seven lavish Private Ocean Reserves have both private waterslides into the ocean and dedicated jetties for absolute privacy. The resort has been cleverly designed to embrace the island’s raw tropical beauty both through its architecture and its interior design: think thatched roofs, garden pools, cascading walls, rich, rainforest-green marble in pools, stone tiles and handwoven wallpapers for a back-to-nature feel.
