This twelve night road trip connects three of America's most musical cities in one well built route. Nashville to New Orleans: Music of the South

Nashville

Nashville is the home of country music. Broadway is the main strip, a stretch of live music bars and neon signs that runs from afternoon well into the night. Four nights at Virgin Hotels Nashville puts you right on Music Row, the historic heart of the city's music scene, with a rooftop infinity pool on the 14th floor and the Commons Club handling everything from morning coffee to late evening cocktails.

Memphis

Memphis is where American music started to take shape. Sun Studio, where Elvis, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis all recorded in the 1950s, is one of the most significant small rooms in the world. Beale Street is the place to go in the evening, a famous stretch of live music venues and restaurants that has been the heartbeat of American blues for over a century.

Three nights at The Peabody Memphis puts you in one of the most storied hotels in the South, famous for its daily duck march through the grand lobby and a rooftop bar with views over the Mississippi River.

Graceland

The Graceland VIP Entourage Tour is included for both, taking you through Elvis's home, his custom jets and the exhibition spaces that tell the full story of his life and career. It is one of those places that delivers more than you expect.

Natchez

Natchez is a small historic town in Mississippi, overlooking the river, with some of the best preserved 19th century architecture in America. Grand mansions, tree lined streets and a quieter pace make it one of the more memorable stops on the route. One night at The Beaumont House in the Emily Suite with breakfast included makes it a proper stop rather than a pass through.

New Orleans

New Orleans is unlike anywhere else in America. The French Quarter is the heart of it, a dense grid of iron balconied buildings, open air bars and live jazz spilling out onto the street at all hours. Four nights at the Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette puts you right on the edge of the Quarter.

An evening jazz cruise on the Mississippi is included, as is a guided tour of Oak Alley Plantation, a spectacular avenue of 300 year old oak trees just outside the city and one of the most visited historic sites in Louisiana.
