Greece, Turkey and Italy Cruise with Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity Ascent is one of Celebrity’s newest Edge Series ships, designed around open space, sea views and choice throughout the day. The standout feature is the Magic Carpet, a moving platform on the side of the ship that shifts between decks, acting as a bar, lounge or dining space depending on where it is positioned.

The Resort Deck is the main outdoor space, with a large pool, sun loungers and the adults only Solarium offering a quieter indoor pool area. The Rooftop Garden is a relaxed open air space with seating, greenery and outdoor film nights in the evening.

Amazing Dining
Amazing Dining

Dining is a key part of the experience. The four main restaurants, Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Normandie and Tuscan, each have their own menus and style, all included as part of your cruise. There is also the Oceanview Café for more casual dining and a range of speciality restaurants if you want something different.

Evenings centre around The Theatre, which hosts full production shows, alongside live music in venues like The Club and Eden, a multi level space at the back of the ship that changes from a calm lounge during the day to a more social venue at night.

Chania, Crete

Chania centres around its Venetian harbour, where a curved waterfront leads past cafés, small restaurants and the old lighthouse. Walk the harbour wall, then head into the old town where narrow streets open into small squares with shops and local food spots. It is a place to wander for a few hours, stopping as you go rather than following a set plan.

Ephesus, Turkey

From Kusadasi, you can visit Ephesus, one of the most important ancient cities in the Mediterranean. Walking through the site, you see the scale of what was once a major Roman city, from the Library of Celsus to the large amphitheatre. It is one of the standout historical stops on the itinerary.

Istanbul, Turkey

You have an overnight stay in Istanbul, giving you more time to explore. Key sights include the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, all within the historic centre. The city sits between Europe and Asia, and that mix shows in the food, architecture and atmosphere.

Santorini, Greece

Santorini is known for its white buildings set high above the sea. From the port, head up to Oia or Fira for views across the caldera, with narrow streets, small shops and cafés along the way. It is one of the most photographed locations in Greece for a reason

Mykonos, Greece

Mykonos offers a different feel, with a lively harbour, whitewashed streets and beach clubs around the island. Walk through Mykonos Town, see the windmills and spend time along the waterfront before heading back to the ship.
