The Club Med Difference

Club Med offers a different kind of all inclusive experience, combining great food, activities, dedicated family spaces and relaxed entertainment in one place. Days can be as peaceful or as active as you want, and the resort teams help make that possible. The G.Os bring the spirit of Club Med to life, from coaching sessions and social activities to caring for little ones in the kids clubs, ensuring your holiday feels effortless from start to finish.

A Resort Built for Fun and Space

Club Med South Africa Beach stretches along a golden coastline, with modern design, wide terraces and generous garden spaces that make the resort feel open, relaxed and full of light. Your Family Superior Room sits close to the heart of the resort, giving easy access to pools, lounges and sports areas. The atmosphere is lively but never crowded, with plenty of room for families to spread out and enjoy long days outdoors.

Pools, Beaches and the Ocean

A variety of pools offer spaces designed for family time to calmer areas where you can simply unwind. The main pools sit close to the beach, so it is easy to move between swimming, time on a sun lounger and the warm Indian Ocean. The surf school and beach activities make the most of the coastal setting, whether you want to try the waves or simply relax on the sand.

Adventure, Sport and the Outdoors

This resort makes the most of its location with a wide range of included sports and a strong outdoor focus. Try the surf school, paddle tennis, gravel biking or the trapeze, or join fitness sessions and activities led by the resort team. There are plenty of options for both gentle exercise and more energetic days, so you can join in at any level or try something completely new.

Family Programmes and Kids Clubs

Families are central to Club Med, and childcare here is available from four months to seventeen years, with dedicated spaces and programmes for different ages. Younger guests can enjoy creative activities, games and sports with their own GOs, while older children and teens have social areas and activities designed around their interests. The result is a holiday where children are engaged, supported and having fun, giving adults the chance to enjoy their own pace too.

Wellness and Calm Spaces

The resort spa brings a sense of quiet luxury with treatments that draw on local influences and natural ingredients. Relaxation lounges and peaceful poolside corners create calm spots throughout the day, whether you want time to unwind after activities or simply enjoy a slow afternoon in the shade.

Dining and South African Flavours

Dining is a highlight throughout the resort, with the main restaurant offering international dishes alongside flavours inspired by South Africa. Cooking classes with the resort chef give you the chance to learn local recipes, while bars and lounges serve drinks and snacks through the day. At the safari lodge, the iNgwe Bar forms the social heart of the lodge, perfect for sharing the day’s sightings and planning the next adventure.

Extend Your Journey into the Wild

You can combine your beach stay with a night or two at Mpilo Safari Lodge in the private Mpilo Game Reserve, around four and a half hours from the resort. Covering more than eighteen thousand hectares of wilderness, the reserve is home to the Big Five and a wide diversity of wildlife. Guided game drives, including night safaris, bring you into the heart of the savannah, while village visits and gentle walks offer the chance to learn about local culture and life in the region.
