On deck, you have an Aqua Park, jogging track and sports courts for basketball, tennis and squash. Inside, a central piazza style area brings together cafés, shops and a gelato bar, and acts as the main social hub on board.

For a more private space, the MSC Yacht Club offers its own pool, lounge, restaurant, solarium and butler service.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Tenerife gives you a mix of coast and volcanic interior in one place. Stay in Santa Cruz for an easy walk along the waterfront and through the city centre, or head inland to Mount Teide where the scenery shifts quickly to lava fields and wide open views. It is one of the most varied islands on the route.

Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is all about the coastline. The Corralejo dunes are the highlight, with long stretches of white sand and clear water. It is one of the best beach stops of the week and an easy place to spend a few hours by the sea.

Funchal, Madeira

Madeira stands apart from the Canaries with its green hills and steep coastline. In Funchal, take the cable car up to Monte for views over the harbour, visit the botanical gardens or explore the old town along the waterfront. It is one of the most scenic days of the trip.

Arrecife, Lanzarote

Lanzarote is defined by its volcanic landscape. Timanfaya National Park is the main draw, where you see lava fields, craters and geothermal activity up close. It is a very different setting to the other islands and worth getting out to see.

Las Palmas, Gran Canaria

Las Palmas combines a city break with time by the sea. Las Canteras Beach runs along the front, so you can step off the ship and be on the sand within minutes. The old town of Vegueta is worth a visit for its historic streets and local restaurants.

Santa Cruz de La Palma

La Palma is quieter and more traditional. The town sits right by the port, with cobbled streets and wooden balconies overlooking the sea. If you go further out, the island opens up into green hills and volcanic viewpoints.
