Barbados: Family Stay with CV Villas

This seven night family stay in Barbados is built around space, flexibility and being close to the sea. Flying direct from Dublin, you stay in a private CV Villas property on the island’s west coast, with daily housekeeping and a private cook included during the stay. It suits families who want support in place without the structure of a large resort, and the freedom to decide how each day unfolds.

Barbados: Family Stay with CV Villas

Why Barbados

Barbados is one of the easiest Caribbean islands to travel to, especially for families. Direct flights from Dublin mean you arrive rested, and the island itself is compact, so nothing ever feels far away. What sets Barbados apart is the mix of good beaches, reliable weather and a strong food and culture scene, with the west coast particularly well suited to family stays thanks to calm, swimmable beaches and short drives between restaurants, beach clubs and places to visit.

Fitts Village, West Coast Barbados

Stay at Milord Sunsets, a private CV Villas property in Fitts Village on Barbados’ west coast. Sitting between Holetown and Bridgetown, it puts you in a convenient spot for getting around without long drives, close to west coast beaches, snorkelling spots, beachside restaurants and local villages, while still feeling residential rather than resort based.

This part of the island is known for calm, swimmable beaches and easy access to some of Barbados’ best known west coast locations. Holetown is nearby for shopping and casual dining, while beaches such as Paynes Bay and Mullins are an easy drive when you want to spend time somewhere different.

The villa offers plenty of space for a family of four, with room to spend time together and space to spread out when needed. Housekeeping and a private cook are included on six days of the stay, giving you flexibility around meals and how you structure each day. You might swim or snorkel close to shore in the morning, head out to a different beach after lunch, or spend the afternoon at the villa before heading out nearby for dinner.

Easy Days Out

Snorkelling with turtles at Paynes Bay
A short drive from Fitts Village, Paynes Bay is one of the easiest places on the island to snorkel straight from the beach. The water is usually calm, and turtles are often seen close to shore. You can bring your own gear or join a short boat trip if you prefer.

West Coast catamaran cruise
A half day catamaran cruise is a popular option for families. Most trips include time to swim with turtles, snorkel over shallow reefs and relax on deck with lunch on board. It’s an easy, enjoyable way to spend time on the water without committing to a full day out.

These experiences are optional and not included in the itinerary. I can help arrange them in advance or once you arrive if you wish.
