What’s Included in this itinerary?

Return flights with Qatar Airways, 13 nights accommodation throughout the trip, car hire. Fremantle Walking Tour Included.

Arrive in Perth, pick up your hire car, and begin your journey north. Your first stop is Nambung National Park, home to the striking Pinnacles Desert, where thousands of ancient limestone spires rise from golden sand dunes. Spend the night in Cervantes or Jurien Bay, where you can relax on pristine beaches and sample fresh seafood.

Drive north to Kalbarri National Park, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Walk through Nature’s Window, a famous rock formation overlooking the Murchison River Gorge, and explore Z-Bend Gorge for breathtaking views. Along the coast, marvel at the rugged Kalbarri Cliffs, where you might spot migrating humpback whales.

Continue to Shark Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its wild dolphins at Monkey Mia. Enjoy a morning dolphin encounter, visit the Stromatolites at Hamelin Pool (one of Earth’s oldest life forms), and relax at Shell Beach, where millions of tiny white shells create a stunning shoreline.

Head to Coral Bay and Exmouth, the gateway to Ningaloo Reef, one of the world’s last untouched marine paradises. Here, you can swim with whale sharks (April to July), snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Turquoise Bay, or kayak alongside sea turtles and manta rays.

Drive inland to the red-hued landscapes of Karijini National Park, one of Australia’s most stunning outback destinations. Spend your days exploring deep gorges, waterfalls, and emerald swimming holes, including Fern Pool, Hancock Gorge, and Hamersley Gorge. Cool off in the crystal-clear waters before camping under the stars.

Begin your journey back down the coast, stopping at hidden beaches and coastal lookouts along the way. You can opt for an extra night in Exmouth or Coral Bay to enjoy more of Ningaloo Reef before heading south.

Complete your road trip back to Perth, with optional stops at Geraldton or the Swan Valley wine region for a relaxing end to your adventure. Spend your final evening exploring Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park, or enjoying a sunset on Cottesloe Beach before your departure.
