Set right on the seafront with beautiful panoramic views, Sheraton La Caleta is a great option for a luxurious break in Tenerife. La Caleta is a pretty fishing village known for its excellent seafood restaurants and it’s a great setting for the hotel. The hotel itself boasts 3 lovely pools, 4 bars, 2 restaurants, a 24 hour gym and large spa as well as kids club, tennis and mini golf and it’s a just a short transfer from the airport.

We relaxed at the pool and the excellent pool bar, hired bikes and cycled all of the way to Los Cristianos, sampled amazing seafood and spent a day at Siam Park, one of my favourite waterparks. Tenerife is one of my favourite European options for a relaxing trip, I’ve visited numerous times and stayed in a range of accommodations.
