I had booked this hotel many times for honeymooners and customers celebrating and going on an extra special holiday and I was excited to experience it for myself. Set on 90 hectares and perched on a cliff above the sparkling Indian Ocean, this hotel has everything you need for an incredible stay. With 19 bars and restaurants, 12 pools with everything from chill out, infinity to swim up and freshwater pools the choice really is endless. A private beach accessed by a unique inclinator was the icing on the cake.

People flock from all over the island to experience the one of a kind Rock Bar, literally hanging over the ocean with an electric atmosphere and incredible sunsets it hosts many international Djs. There’s something to keep everyone happy from the 18 hole golf putting course, the tennis courts, gym, kids club, cookery classes to the shopping arcade featuring exclusive boutiques, a hairdressers and beauty salon.

One of the highlights for me was the spa, voted Indonesia’s best spa their signature treatments in particular were amazing.
