A Resort Designed for Families

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel had families in mind. Our girls were immediately excited by the endless choice of pools and activities available. There was so much to do that they were never bored for a second.

The resort boasts an incredible selection of swimming pools. There were rooftop pools with stunning views, beautiful infinity pools, dedicated splash pools for younger children, and even two large water slides that quickly became favorites with our twins. For adults looking for some peace and quiet, there was also a gorgeous adults-only pool area complete with its own pool bar – the perfect spot to unwind while soaking up the sunshine.

Honestly, you could spend a week there and swim in a different pool every day.

The Best All-Inclusive Food We've Experienced

One of the biggest reasons we chose an all-inclusive holiday was convenience, especially with young children. What we didn't expect was the exceptional quality of the food.

The selection was incredible. Every meal offered something different, with cuisines ranging from Italian and Chinese to Mexican and traditional favorites. There were fresh meats, vegetables, salads, pasta dishes, seafood, desserts, and more choices than we could possibly try during our stay.

Everything tasted fresh, high-quality, and beautifully prepared. It genuinely felt more like dining in a collection of restaurants than eating at a typical all-inclusive buffet. Even our usually picky eaters found plenty to enjoy.

Comfortable Rooms and Immaculate Cleanliness

Our room was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very welcome during the warm May weather. After long days by the pool, it was the ideal place to relax and recharge.

What impressed us most, however, was the cleanliness throughout the resort. I have honestly never seen a hotel maintained to such a high standard. Staff were constantly cleaning, tidying, and keeping everything looking immaculate. Every area of the hotel felt spotless, and it was clear that great pride was taken in maintaining the property.

Entertainment That Never Missed a Beat

The entertainment team deserves special recognition. They were friendly, energetic, and genuinely brilliant with children.

Every day offered different activities, and every evening featured a new theme or performance. During dinner, there was often live music creating a lovely atmosphere. Later in the evening, families could enjoy shows ranging from magic acts and comedy performances to interactive entertainment that got the children involved.

Our girls absolutely loved it. The staff made them feel welcome from day one, and it was wonderful watching them laugh, dance, and join in with all the activities.

Exploring Puerto Rico

Although we spent most of our time enjoying the resort, we did venture out a couple of times. The nearby beach was beautiful, with golden sand and calm waters perfect for families. There was also a pleasant shopping center close by, ideal for a leisurely stroll and a little browsing.

However, what we loved most was that we never felt the need to leave the hotel. Everything we needed was right there.

The Ultimate Relaxing Family Holiday

When we booked this trip, our goal was simple: to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality family time together. Servatur Puerto Azul delivered exactly that.

We returned home feeling genuinely refreshed, relaxed, and already talking about coming back. In fact, we're returning this year because our children enjoyed it so much, and while they're still young, we wanted another easy, all-inclusive family holiday where everyone can have fun and parents can truly unwind.

If you're looking for a laid-back destination where the children are entertained, the food is fantastic, the facilities are excellent, and relaxation comes naturally, I couldn't recommend Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria and Servatur Puerto Azul highly enough.

We can't wait to return.
