Cruising Celebrity Edge

Celebrity cruises offer modern, classy, high-end ships with excellent meals, speciality restaurants and loads of wow. Personally, I loved the magic carpet located over the side of the ship offering amazing views of the ocean to enjoy with cocktails or beers in hand. Think 5-star, high end hotel.

I also loved the choice of bars from outdoor sunset decks to cocktails in the whirlpools.

The shows are varied and enjoyable and the cabaret show which takes place in the nightclub with acrobats and dances was brilliant.

There were approx. 3000 passengers on the Celebrity Edge when we sailed compared to neatly 7000 on some of the super ships. Edge is large enough to have everything you could require without being too busy. Restaurants are smaller and more intimate because of this.

I’d highly recommend the classic drinks package as wines, beers, spirts, cocktails and Prosecco are all included. All drinks up to $9.00 are included in the package based on my cruise in 2022. Now if you don’t drink there’s no need.

Destination wise and ports of call. Capri was very busy but worth seeing as it is beautiful but go super early. Rome too but it’s nearly always busy as it’s a popular destination. I thoroughly enjoyed Santorini, Mykonos, and Rhodes.

Personally, I love to cruise it’s a super way to see a lot of the Mediterranean on one trip. The Greek Isles are a fabulous cruise for a couple on Honeymoon particularly Edge for whom I’ve found I now have a soft spot.
