Greek islands

Greek islands

Some of my favourites islands to date are Crete & Santorini.

Chania, pronounced Hania is an old fishing port with a beautiful harbour now lined with bars and restaurants. Sitting at the western tip of Crete it's incredibly pretty and a lovely spot for a Honeymoon or an adult break away.

We opted to stay in the old town, steps from the harbour for a few days to experience it and then headed out to the resort. The resort is just 15 mins in a taxi from Chania, still accessible.

With direct flights now there’s no reason not to do a two or even a 3 Center trip on Crete. There are so many gorgeous sights to see. Reythmon is gorgeous too with its Venetian harbour and cobbled narrow streets. With many beaches and mountains to explore there’s lots to do. Combine with Santorini for the ultimate island hoping honeymoon.

Santorini: Where the whole island is a UNESCO heritage site. It’s an absolutely stunning honeymoon destination. With views that will just stop you in your tracks.

*8 miles long and 3.5 miles wide it is pretty small but packs a mighty punch.

* There are 13 villages in total on the island.

*The Population can get up to 30,000 - 40,000 in the summer months.

* Santorini is 2 hrs by ferry from Crete.

Santorini makes for great island hopping with Crete as mentioned or Mykonos or even all 3 islands. Paros is also possible from there.

All in all the Greek islands make for a dreamy Honeymoon Destination. Get in contact to arrange your next Greek getaway!
