Easter in Sanguli
Our Easter break this year brought us to the ever-popular Sangulí resort in Salou, and it proved to be an excellent choice for a relaxed, family-focused getaway.
Sangulí enjoys a fantastic location on the edge of Salou, making it ideal for families who want both a self-contained resort experience and easy access to the surrounding areas. The beachfront is just a short stroll away, and the town centre is within easy reach. During our stay, we hired bikes and made the most of the scenic coastal paths, cycling into Salou and to the charming neighbouring town of Cambrils. It’s a lovely, flat route that’s perfect for families and a great way to explore the area at your own pace.
We stayed in one of the two-bedroom Masai lodges, which offered a really comfortable base for the week. The lodges are well laid out, with plenty of space for families, and the African-themed design adds a fun touch that the kids seemed to love. Everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped, making it easy to settle in straight away. One of the biggest highlights of this accommodation is its location within the resort. Being close to the Africa Pool was a real win for us.
The pool area is beautifully designed, with a beach-style entry, slides, and lots of shallow sections that are perfect for younger children. It quickly became our go-to spot each day, and the kids absolutely loved spending hours there while we could relax nearby. It’s also worth noting that during the Easter period, all of the resort’s pool areas were open, which added great variety throughout the stay. Each pool has its own theme and atmosphere, so it never felt crowded or repetitive. The on-site sports area was fully open as well, offering plenty of options to stay active, from casual games to more organised activities.

Sangulí delivered exactly what we look for in a family holiday—great facilities, a safe and welcoming atmosphere, and accommodation that makes travelling with kids easy. The Masai lodges, combined with the fantastic pool areas and excellent location, make it a strong recommendation for families considering Salou, especially during school holiday periods like Easter
