Days 1–3: Atlanta

Begin your adventure in Atlanta, Georgia – known as the cradle of the civil rights movement. This vibrant city sets a powerful tone with its meaningful history and culture. Whether you're tracing the footsteps of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., dining in the upscale neighbourhoods of Buckhead, or soaking up the city's urban energy, Atlanta is the perfect place to ease into your Southern sojourn.

Day 3–4: History in Lynchburg

From Atlanta, drive north into Tennessee, with an optional overnight stop in Lynchburg – a charming town known for Jack Daniel’s. For bourbon and whiskey lovers, this is a journey worth making. Stay at the Tolley House, a characterful B&B with ties to the Jack Daniel’s story – ideal for those who enjoy a bit of local lore with their nightcap.

Days 4–6: Art, Adventure & Americana in Chattanooga

Next stop: Chattanooga, nestled on the Tennessee River and bursting with character. With two or more nights here, you’ll have time to explore Lookout Mountain, ride the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo, and experience Olympic-level white-water rapids. A hub of art, culture, and nature, this city is as scenic as it is soulful -and the dining and nightlife here might just surprise you.

Days 6–8: Into the Wild - Great Smoky Mountains

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of America’s most visited parks – and with good reason. Think misty peaks, endless hiking trails, lush forests and the chance to spot black bears and elk. Gatlinburg makes an ideal base, offering cosy stays and a gateway to the great outdoors. You’re also just a stone’s throw from Dollywood, if you fancy a day of fun with a country twist.

Days 8–11: Nashville – The Soundtrack of the South

Time to turn up the volume in Nashville, the undisputed birthplace of Country Music. This city hums with energy, from the famous honky-tonks on Broadway to the hallowed halls of the Country Music Hall of Fame. And because no visit would be complete without it, tickets to a show at the iconic Grand Ole Opry are included in your trip.

Days 11–14: Memphis – Walking in the Footsteps of Legends

Your journey ends on a high note in Memphis, where rock, soul and blues converge. Visit Graceland, home of Elvis Presley – tickets included – and feel the legacy of the King of Rock and Roll. Explore Beale Street, dig into Memphis BBQ, and experience a city that shaped the sound of a generation.
