Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi’s History & Old Quarter

Dive into the city’s rich past with visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton). Then, enjoy a traditional cyclo tour through the bustling Old Quarter.

Day 3: Countryside Escape to Mai Châu

Head to the Mai Châu Valley, a serene landscape of lush rice fields and stilt houses. Enjoy a peaceful hike through the countryside, meeting local villagers along the way.

Day 4: Explore Mai Châu

Spend the day immersing yourself in rural life with more hikes and cultural encounters in the valley, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Day 5: Cruise the Emerald Waters of Ha Long Bay

Travel to Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise on a traditional junk boat. Drift past limestone karsts and floating villages in one of the world’s most beautiful seascapes.

Day 6: From Ha Long Bay to Hue

Disembark and fly to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Relax and prepare to explore the city’s rich history the next day.

Day 7: Imperial Treasures of Hue

Take a guided tour of Emperor’s Tomb and the Imperial Citadel. Enjoy a peaceful lunch at a Buddhist nunnery, followed by time to wander Hue’s riverside streets.

Day 8: Lanterns & Noodles in Hoi An

Day 9: Local Flavors & Markets in Hoi An

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City Bound

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam’s bustling southern hub. Enjoy free time to explore the vibrant markets and colonial architecture.

Day 11: The Cu Chi Tunnels

Take a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate underground network used during the Vietnam War. Learn about the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people.

Day 12: Free Day in Ho Chi Minh City
