Malta

Fly from Dublin to Malta and collect your hire car for the drive to Marsascala, a peaceful harbour town on the island’s southern coast. Stay two nights at the Ca Sand Dune Hotel, perfectly placed for exploring nearby St Peter’s Pool, Marsaxlokk and the rugged southern cliffs. Continue north to Valletta for a three-night stay at the centrally located Hotel Osborne. Wander through the capital’s narrow lanes, admire the Grandmaster’s Palace and enjoy views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens overlooking the harbour.

Next, head to Mellieha for two nights at the Pergola Hotel & Spa, where you can relax by the pool or venture to the golden beaches of the north. From here, take a short ferry across to Comino for a swim in the Blue Lagoon or visit the charming village of Popeye Village for a fun local experience.
