Embrace elegance with Silversea’s new Silver Ray

First-class design

Silversea’s second Nova Class vessel mirrors every aspect of her pioneering sister ship, Silver Nova: a horizontal layout, asymmetrical design, and simply extraordinary use of glass in public areas and suites – which ensures uninterrupted views and light-flooded interiors wherever you are. Silver Ray is also one of the most spacious ships ever built and offers an exceptionally high space-to-guest ratio. But she is also nimble in the water. Her public spaces and suites span the length of the ship to give unprecedented openness to your thrilling destinations, and many of her new selection of superb suites offer a 270˚ view stretching from sea to sky.

On decks 10 and 11, you’ll find a reimagined pool space with enough loungers for everyone, more space than ever before, the largest pool in the fleet, and The Cliff Whirlpool – an infinity-edge, glass-fronted whirlpool. There are also eight restaurants and an array of bars offering superb drinking and dining any time of the day.

Exceptional dining

Atlantide, Silversea’s signature fine-dining restaurant, has an updated design, with huge picture windows, sophisticated lighting, and warm colours creating a cocooning environment in which to feast on the likes of caviar and lobster. There’s more fine dining at the modern La Dame with its French-inspired menus and amazing wine lists served amidst Lalique crystal decor.

We also love S.A.L.T. Kitchen with its destination-inspired menus, including Terrain with its recipes and flavours specific to the last port visited, and Voyage, which draws inspiration from the best flavours of the voyage. La Terrazza is Silversea’s hallmark Italian restaurant; aboard Silver Ray, it has floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace on which to enjoy flavours from different regions, including steaming risottos and hearty ragus.

And that’s not all. Silver Note serves tapas-style dishes with a gourmet twist against a backdrop of live jazz and soul, The Marquee is a brand-new outdoor dining venue with plant-based and vegan options and a laidback lunchtime grill that becomes the Hot Rocks table barbecue by night. In Kaiseki, you can watch skilled chefs at work around the teppanyaki table or try other Asian specialties, including Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Korean, and Chinese.

See the sights

One excursion per port of call per day is included in your cruise package, with all of them carefully crafted to immerse you in each wonderful destination. We firmly advise planning ahead and reserving your excursions when you book your cruise, and the most popular ones fill quickly.
