Dubrovnik, Korčula & Montenegro Family Journey

This eleven night family journey combines three very different stops along the Adriatic coast, blending historic cities, island time and a relaxed coastal finish. Starting in Dubrovnik, the route continues by ferry to the island of Korčula before crossing into Montenegro for the final nights. With direct flights from Dublin, private transfers and family friendly accommodation throughout, the trip works well for families who want variety without long travel days.

Dubrovnik, Korčula & Montenegro Family Journey

Dubrovnik

Begin with four nights just outside Dubrovnik, staying at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik in a spacious two bedroom residence. The resort setting gives families room to settle in, with pools, open space and easy access to the coast, while still being close enough to visit the Old Town.

One morning includes a Game of Thrones walking tour, a fun way for older children and teens to explore Dubrovnik’s historic streets while learning how the city was used as a filming location. The rest of your time can be spent enjoying the resort facilities or heading into the Old Town to walk the city walls, explore the harbour or stop for ice cream along the Stradun.

Korčula

Travel by ferry to Korčula for five nights, an island known for its compact old town, clear waters and relaxed pace. Staying close to the coast makes it easy to mix sightseeing with downtime, whether that’s swimming, cycling or wandering the narrow streets of Korčula Town.

This part of the trip suits families who enjoy being outdoors, with beaches, waterfront walks and plenty of space for children to explore safely. Evenings are calm and walkable, with restaurants and cafés clustered around the harbour.

Budva, Montenegro

The final stop brings you across the border into Montenegro for two nights in Budva. This coastal town offers a lively old town, beaches and a different feel again from Croatia. Staying centrally allows time to explore the old town walls, enjoy the seafront and round off the trip with a slower pace before heading home.
