Highlights of Antarctica

Imagine waking up to the serene beauty of Antarctica, where colossal glaciers and floating icebergs create a dreamlike landscape outside your window. HX’s flight-inclusive 'Highlights of Antarctica' expedition is an immersive 12-day adventure aboard the MS Nansen, with an overnight stay in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires before setting sail.

You’ll spend five days exploring the must-see sights of Antarctica, which includes spotting local wildlife such as seals lounging on ice floes, penguin colonies waddling across the snow, and majestic whales breaching the icy waters around you. Alongside the Expedition Team, you’ll get close to towering icebergs and join onboard lectures to deepen your understanding of this pristine environment and how we can all protect it.

Grand Greenland

Venture into the heart of Greenland with HX’s 'Grand Greenland' expedition, where the icy giants of Disko Bay await. This 13-day voyage aboard MS Fridtjof Nansen takes you along Greenland's wild western coast to experience the eternal daylight of the Midnight Sun, sailing through deep fjords, and alongside huge glaciers, including seeing the impressive Ilulissat Icefjord with your own eyes.

This sailing also immerses you in local cultures and communities, where you can learn about the rich history and culture of Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland. One highlight is a visit to Sisimiut, which lies 25 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Here, you will find remains that date back over 4,000 years and can learn about the ancient Saqqaq culture that live here. This expedition not only offers breathtaking natural beauty but also invites you to participate in citizen science projects and attend fascinating lectures on topics ranging from glaciology to Greenlandic mythology.
