Norwegian Fjords Cruise
Oceanview café - amazing choice of food, piping hot, beautifully displayed, so fresh.
Tuscan grill - again lovely food, piping hot and very relaxed. No need to get really dressed up.
Ocean view cabin - beautiful modern cabin on deck 3, port side. You could actually sit on the windowsill to look out. Waking up in the morning I could see the sea or wherever we stopped just outside. You could sit in the window and witness waterfalls etc while travelling through the Fjords.
The roof top garden is a lovely area with a large tv screen. It was a little cold to sit out due to the itinerary but a lovely space with a bar.
Magic carpet wasn't working during our trip.
Pool areas spotless. The indoor pool area was used mostly (again due to the itinerary) and there were plenty of beds.
Lots of bar choices. I loved the Eden. I loved the quirky furniture around the ship too.
Haugesund - This was our first stop. Not very impressive. Not a lot to see or do there. Hop on/off bus is $40pp from the port, but it goes nowhere. We just walked to the centre which a lot of people did.
Olden - On the approach to Olden the scenery is stunning. The town itself is very quaint and beautiful. We took a hop on/off bus $40pp to the glaciers and lakes. Beautiful.
Flam - again a quaint village with stunning scenery. I pre-booked the Flam railway trip.
Bergen - beautiful port town. We just walked to the centre and sat with a coffee and watched the world go by. Lovely buildings with a stunning green backdrop.
Broadway shows and comedy shows etc were good.
The Grand plaza is nice and there was different entertainment on at night from singing to violinists etc. You can watch Football or Golf etc in the Craft social bar The casino is quite big on this ship.
All in all a beautiful, new, spotless ship with the loveliest staff.
Oh, and I loved that you don't have to touch door handles. You just have to swish your hand and they open :)
