I believe that when booking your holiday, your whole experience should be as enjoyable and exciting as possible. I am extremely passionate about my chosen profession, and I pride myself on the personal service and attention to detail that I offer all my customers.
This year I will celebrate my 17th year as a Personal Travel Counsellor and after over 25 years in travel, I never get tired of building the perfect holiday experience for each and every individual that gets in touch with me. January 2026 I celebrated my best ever month in sales which is a huge achievement for me after nearly 17 years. I have my wonderful repeat clients, friends and family to thank for this as they keep referring me on and keep booking with me.
I specialise in bespoke, tailor-made holidays be it for a honeymoon, an anniversary holiday, a retirement holiday or a once in a lifetime family trip, I would be delighted to hear from you. I have travelled extensively to many destinations with some of my favourites being Dubai, Mauritius, South Africa, Mexico, Hawaii, Barbados, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Doha and the spectacular Seychelles. In 2024 I travelled with my family to Thailand for the second time and taking the first long-haul trip with my two daughters was a complete eye opener. I loved being able to open their eyes to the bigger world and we had some of the most amazing experiences travelling to three different parts of Thailand. Most of my travelling is with my husband and two daughters so more family focused holidays are a top priority for me however being able to travel as a guest with our suppliers gives me first-hand knowledge of the amazing destinations there are to see in this beautiful world! I have plenty of tips and I would be delighted to share my knowledge and experience.

After many happy years of Dealing with Dairine Mc Garrity who has always been at the end of the phone checking on us I realised how valuable a travel agents could be. I was recently caught up in the Dubai floods on a connecting flight to Dublin in what I can only call absolute mayhem the airline couldn’t cope at all and we were left in the dark on the runway for 6 hours and then treated like cattle in the airport eventually after many hours I got a light bulb moment and contacted Dairine it was after hours but she had been monitoring the situation and when I contacted her she immediately got the situation under control. Dairine had within minutes booked hotel for me and my wife and started to look for flights. The next day I was contacted by Dairine who confirmed return flights but these were 4 days away she then sorted extra hotel days for us . FOR THE FIRST THREE DAYS THE AIRLINE STILL HADNT MADE CONTACT and when we tried an went back to the airport we just got no answers in the airport there were people wondering about aimlessly 3 days after as they had no agent to contact at least we were spared all that mess. Over the whole incident Dairine was constantly in contact with us kept us fully informed every day. It’s a terrible pity the airline couldn’t have been the same.

My now wife and I were trying to book a honeymoon leading up to the wedding and given the places we wanted to go, it was proving a little difficult to attempt to get all the travel and hotels etc in line for the best value, especially with all the other wedding arrangements going on. We were recommended Travel Counsellors through a friend of my wifes and after looking at the website and seeing Dairine was the closest and also specialised in honeymoons, we decided to give her a call.
The booking was seemless and very straight forward. Dairine was extremely helpful, listened to what we wanted (as we had a couple of special requests) and it took a lot of hassle out of trying to do it ourselves. Although I didn't end up doing a full comparison, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have paid less either doing it ourselves! We had a great three week honeymoon with no problems getting to and from places and the accommodation was first class!
