Day 1: Embracing Johannesburg's Vibrancy

Your South African odyssey begins in the bustling metropolis of Johannesburg, a city teeming with art, culinary delights, with a poignant history. After checking into your hotel, take the chance to bond with your fellow adventurers. The evening unfolds with a delightful dinner at a local gem in Nelson Mandela Square, setting the stage for the adventures ahead.

Day 2-3: Encountering Wildlife at Pridelands Conservancy

Next, you'll venture to your incredible stay at Raptors Lodge situated in the Pridelands Conservancy, a former buffalo hunting farm turned wildlife haven. Nestled just outside Hoedspruit, Pridelands promises close encounters with South Africa's majestic flora & fauna. Early rise at dawn on your final day here, embark on a guided walk through the conservancy. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffalo, and zebras as the sun rises and enjoy a serene al fresco breakfast, watching wildlife roam the bush – a true immersion in nature's splendour.

Day 4-5: Safari Thrills in Kruger National Park

From Pridelands, your journey leads to the iconic Kruger National Park. Rich in both wildlife and cultural heritage, Kruger offers a captivating blend of adventure and education. Start with a Walking Safari, honing your tracking skills and gaining survival insights from your guide. Then, board a safari vehicle for up-close encounters with elephants, giraffes, and lions. Have the ultimate end to your safari with sundowners at a watering hole, reflecting on the day's incredible sights.

Day 6-7: Wine and Dine in Franschhoek

Bid farewell to Kruger and head to Franschhoek, renowned as a global epicentre for wine and gastronomy. Your first afternoon is for relaxation at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa and as evening falls, indulge in the best of food at Sauvage, a celebrated local restaurant. The next day, explore the vineyards by e-bike, savouring the scenery and sampling exquisite wines. A stop at Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, promises a delectable, seasonally inspired lunch with stunning views over the Franschhoek Winelands.

Day 8-11: Captivating Cape Town

The final leg of your journey brings you to Cape Town. Begin with a kayak trip from Three Anchor Bay, soaking in the views of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, and Table Mountain then opt for a hike or a cable car ride up Table Mountain, each offering breathtaking panoramas of the city below. The afternoon beckons with a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where the Centenary Tree Canopy Walkway awaits.

On your penultimate day, experience fabulous exclusive excursions, choosing between a Black Route walking tour and cooking experience, and a half day Urban Cycle tour. Both allow you to cover lots of Cape Town's sights, great to get you out and about before your trip home.
