St Vincent, A Jewel in the Caribbean

Well what can I say; this place just has the WOW factor. From the moment we landed until we left we were treated like royalty. St Vincent and the Grenadines are made up of 32 islands, with only 9 of them inhibited. St Vincent would be the largest of the islands and with only 18kms long and about 11km wide it won’t take you long to get around!

We stayed at the beautiful 5* Buccament Bay Resort. All the individual villas are well appointed and very spacious. They have 1,2 & 4 bedroom villas each with their own plunge pool and some are directly situated on the white sandy beach. Each Villa has an i-pod dock, hairdryers, irons, safe, expresso machine and tea maker, plasma TV, a fully stocked fridge, free Wi-Fi and most importantly the best beds ever!!!

This All Inclusive resort just ticks all the boxes for me. The food was amazing and not your typical All Inclusive. Although it is quiet and relaxing, there is still plenty to do for those who are more energetic. They have superb facilities and coaching academies on site with visiting celebrity coaches. The academies are tennis, football, cricket and rugby. They also have a unique theatre school and an excellent kids club. There are also personal trainers there to help you work off that big breakfast if you wish. The spa area is well worth a visit too.

I loved the relaxed ambiance and the perfect white sandy beach surrounded by lush green mountains and rainforest. Just wish we could have stayed longer. This was truly a 5* experience and one place I hope to return to.
