Thailand Family Holiday

Day 1 - Bangkok

Your Thai family adventure begins in the lively capital of Bangkok. After checking in to your hotel, there’s time to settle in and get to know your surroundings. In the evening, meet your local guide and fellow travellers for a welcome meeting where the excitement truly begins.

Day 2 - Kanchanaburi

Begin your day with breakfast before discovering hidden gems of Bangkok. Experience the colourful flower market, learn how to fold lotus petals, then board an EV boat to journey through the city’s historic canals. Visit an artist’s house to create a special family keepsake, savour lunch by the river, and later, travel by private transfer (approx. 3½ hrs) to a unique floating rafthouse resort in Kanchanaburi.

Day 3 - Erawan National Park

Venture to Erawan National Park, famed for its seven-tiered waterfalls and emerald pools. Swim among tropical fish, hike amid lush forests, and look out for eagles or colourful pheasants. After your exploration, return to the raft resort—relax by the pool or take a river raft ride.

Day 4 - Ayutthaya

Head to the ancient city of Ayutthaya by minibus (approx. 2½ hrs), once the majestic Siamese capital. Guided exploration of the UNESCO-listed temple ruins is a highlight—don't miss the iconic Buddha head entwined in tree roots at Wat Mahathat. Afterwards, unwind in a day‑room at a local hotel before boarding an overnight sleeper train.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai

Wake up in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand's cultural jewel. Explore the Old Town, sample local treats for lunch, then ascend the rickety stairway of Doi Suthep temple—300 steps guarded by Naga serpents, rewarded with sweeping city views and the evening chants of Buddhist monks. Spend the evening wandering the night bazaar or savouring a bowl of Northern comfort: Khao Soi.

Day 6 - Elephant Sanctuary

Journey to ChangChill Elephant Sanctuary, observing free-roaming elephants in their natural habitat. Learn about conservation efforts from expert guides, watch as they bathe in mud, and enjoy a snack by the elephant mud pit, just be ready to get misted! After a some time with these gentle giants, return to Chiang Mai for an evening of free time, visit the night markets or sample delicious street food.

Day 7 - Chiang Dao Village

Traverse the Chiang Dao Valley to Ban Hua Tung, a welcoming mountain village. Wander with locals to learn basket-weaving and herbal medicine, and discover the sacred ‘forest ordination’—where trees are revered as monks. Share a homemade lunch and gain insight into daily life before returning to Chiang Mai for your final evening.

Day 8 - Chiang Mai

Enjoy one last family breakfast and take a morning to linger—perhaps lingering over a fresh juice, visiting a café, or purchasing keepsakes in the Old Town.
