Step aboard Oceania’s brand-new ship, Vista

We’re excited to introduce Oceania’s new ship Vista, which launched earlier this year. Whether you’re already a fan of Oceania or are a newcomer to its fantastic offerings, we’ve looked at reasons to book your next cruise aboard Vista, from its imaginative new dining concepts to its dramatic signature spaces including all-veranda accommodation.

Step aboard Oceania’s brand-new ship, Vista

Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centre

This is Oceania’s first purpose-built, holistic wellness centre, offering rejuvenating treatments, healing therapies, a state-of-the-art gym, and a sizeable new salon. We particularly love the Aquamar Spa Terrace – an open-air deck with loungers, plunge pools, and whirlpool spas all with glorious sea views.

Pool Deck

Inspired by natural environments that inspire tranquillity, this is the ultimate onboard escape – chic and calming, with shaded cabanas and water’s-edge daybeds.

The Most Spacious Staterooms at Sea

Vista’s standard Veranda Staterooms are not only chic, with their gentle, neutral tones, natural light, and upscale furnishings and artworks – they’re also a hugely generous 291ft² in size, with a separate sitting area, a queen-size bed, and a large bath.

There’s also a whole new category of stateroom tailor-made for solo travellers, the Concierge Level Solo Veranda Stateroom, with all the facilities and amenities of other staterooms plus the privilege of Concierge Level amenities including complimentary laundry services, unlimited access to the Spa Terrace, and card-only access to the exclusive Concierge Lounge.

The Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms themselves are ultra-large, with lots of wardrobe space, marble baths with a walk-in rainforest shower, and the above-mentioned Concierge Level amenities, plus the option of room service from The Grand Dining Room.

New Specialty Restaurant, Ember

With its combination of fresh, contemporary American dishes and time-honoured classics at lunch and dinner, this newcomer to Oceania’s wonderful dining options is already one of our favourites. Think braised short ribs on polenta, grilled swordfish with asparagus, crab cakes with spicy aioli, and a hearty Cobb salad with smoked chicken, kale and avocado – to mention just a few of the dishes that have already been going down a treat with recent passengers.

Other Restaurants, Bars and Lounges

Indulgence and wellness don’t always go hand-in-hand – but that’s not the case at Vista’s Aquamar Kitchen with its hearty and delicious yet guilt-free cuisine such as yellowfin tacos with a zesty white cabbage slaw. This is also one of our top recommendations for breakfast onboard, including cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, homemade granolas, avocado toasts, organic power bowls, and savoury wraps.

Alternatively, let the smell of freshly baked croissants, biscotti, and jam-laden crostatas lure you to Vista’s new Bakery with its array of Italian and French pastries created by the ship’s expert pastry chefs. We highly recommend the ricotta-filled sfogliatelle (a speciality of Italy’s Campania region) and the chocolate and almond croissants.

Then there’s teatime, and there’s no better place for this than Horizons with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering 180° views. This really is a treat, with four-tiered pastry carts piled high with finger sandwiches, rich scones, and decadent desserts doing the rounds – don’t miss it.

And in the evenings, we love to head over to Martinis with its shimmering glass walls and crystal canopy, perfect for channelling your inner James Bond or Bond girl, with a wonderfully warm atmosphere but also lots of alcoves for those looking for privacy.
