This adventure includes 4-star central accommodation for 4 nights in San José, Costa Rica’s capital. Your journey continues with 2 nights in Sarapiquí, staying at an eco-lodge in the heart of the rainforest, followed by 1 night in La Fortuna near the Arenal Volcano. Spend another night on Costa Rica’s South Pacific coast, enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. You continue your stay a further 2 nights for relaxation and immersion in nature. Included in this itinerary are international flights and internal flights within Costa Rica, as well as all transfers between destinations. You'll experience cultural exchanges with the Quitirrisí and Boruca Indigenous communities and participate in vital conservation work, such as the COPROT sea turtle conservation project. Along the way, you'll also explore wildlife rescue centres and take guided walks through lush rainforests.


Days 1–2: Welcome to Costa Rica

Your adventure begins in San José, where you’ll settle into your hotel and soak in the lively atmosphere. On your second day, visit the Quitirrisí Indigenous community, where you’ll gain insights into their rich traditions. Hands-on activities, like crafting and tasting local dishes, make for a memorable introduction to Costa Rica’s cultural heritage.

Days 3–4: Sarapiquí

Head into the lush rainforests of Sarapiquí, where nature is at its most vibrant. A visit to a wildlife rescue centre introduces you to Costa Rica’s biodiversity and ongoing conservation efforts. Explore the jungle on guided walks or add a little adrenaline with river rafting or canopy tours.

Day 5: Cope San Juan

Experience authentic rural Costa Rican life in Cope San Juan, a community dedicated to sustainable development. Spend the day learning about eco-friendly farming, participating in community-led projects, and connecting with local families.

Days 6–7: Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs

No trip to Costa Rica is complete without a visit to Arenal Volcano. Trek across volcanic landscapes, unwind in thermal hot springs, and enjoy the stunning scenery that surrounds this iconic destination. For an extra dose of adventure, opt for zip-lining, horseback riding, or kayaking.

Day 8: Boruca

Travel south to meet the Boruca Indigenous community, famous for their vibrant art and traditions. Take part in a mask-painting workshop, a highlight for many families, and hear stories of Boruca history.

Days 9–10: Sea Turtle Conservation

Make your way to the Pacific Coast to join the COPROT sea turtle conservation project. This hands-on experience involves patrolling beaches for nesting turtles, releasing hatchlings, and learning about vital conservation work. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a difference while connecting with these incredible creatures.

Days 11–12: Finca Exotica

Unwind at the Finca Exotica Eco-Lodge, nestled in a tranquil rainforest setting. Explore nature trails, practice yoga, or simply relax.

Day 13: Farewell to Costa Rica

Return to San José for your departure.
