Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing forests, orchards and small villages. Stop in Midelt for an overnight stay and an easy walk through a nearby Berber village. It’s a quieter day with space to relax, enjoy the views and see how mountain life moves at its own pace.
Continue south toward the Sahara and the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi, witnessing the endless sands of the world’s largest hot desert. Your camp awaits, with dinner under the stars and traditional stories shared by lantern light before you retire to your private desert tent for the night.
After sunrise, drive through Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou, a sand-coloured fortress that once protected desert traders. Walk through its maze of mud-brick streets and learn about life here from your local guide. Later, enjoy a relaxed art session with a local painter using natural colours made from tea and saffron
