The first stop on your itinerary will be San Francisco where you will spend three nights around the iconic Union Square. During your stay you must visit the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and explore the mystique of Alcatraz before heading to the colourful painted streets of Castro Street. Make sure to pre-book Alcatraz with your Travel Counsellor.

After collecting your hire car, head to Eureka via Healdsburg and the Sonoma Wine Country where you will stay in the Bayside Inn & Suites for one night. Explore the local vineyards and sample some of the world class cuisine that the area is known for.

Enroute to Coos Bay take the opportunity to visit Redwood National Park, one of three national parks enroute, famous for being home to the tallest and most iconic trees on earth. The national park will also give you the opportunity to spot Elk, Bald Eagle, sea lions and Otters. While in Coos Bay, visit Sunset Bay State Park which offers a stunning swimming cove surrounded by sandstone cliffs.

Whilst enroute to Portland, spend one night in Newport, during your stay you can learn about the town by visiting the Willamette Heritage Centre or take a stroll through Salem Riverfront Park.

Drive to Portland where you will stay for a night in Lucia Hotel. You can head to Portland Night Market to sample the local food, culture, and music after you visit Oregon’s tallest waterfall - Multnomah Falls. In the afternoon, why not sample one of the 83 craft breweries that Portland is famous for.

Seattle, Washington is the final stop on your road trip and where you will embark on your Alaskan adventure onboard Quantum of the Seas. Yor stay in the Edgewater Hotel for a further two nights will give you the option to visit the infamous Seattle Space Needle to get a bird’s eye view of the Seattle skyline, visit the world famous Pike Place Market and visit the heart of Seattle - Pioneer Square which is home to numerous galleries, bars, cafés, and diverse shops.

From Seattle you will then embark on your seven-day Alaskan cruise, beginning with a day of cruising through the Alaskan Fjords giving you the option to enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife or have fun by taking part in one of the many activities onboard. Grab your surfboard and head to the Flowrider or relax at the adult only Solarium Retreat, there’s something for everyone.

You will then dock at Sitka, Alaska for the day. You can visit Sitka National Historical Park which has a strong native heritage and is home to some magnificent artefacts. You can also book a shore excursion that will get you acquainted with Sitka’s picturesque natural surroundings and wildlife inhabitants.

Next on your itinerary is Skagway where you can spend the day enjoying the breathtaking natural scenery of Alaska by taking a vintage train along White Pass and Yukon. Home to the 1900s gold rush, you can learn about some of Alaska’s history at the museums of Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

On your fifth day, you will visit Juneau where no trip would be complete without taking in a seafaring safari to catch a glimpse of humpback whales, orcas, or sea lions in the icy waters. You can also learn about how to be a musher by joining Juneau’s professional mushers along with their huskies on a sleigh ride.

After another day of scenic cruising, your final stop before returning and departing in Seattle, will be Canada’s Victoria, British Columbia. You can learn about the tribal artefact in the Royal British Museums before you look at the beautiful architecture of the Parliament Buildings, or explore the vibrant and aromatic Butchart Gardens.
