Begin your Western Med family holiday in the bustling city of Naples where you can experience the neoclassical architecture and intricate frescos of Gesu Nuovo Church or explore the Catacombs of San Gennaro after you visit the church of San Domenico Maggiore with its beautiful gold-gilded ceiling and interior. Before leaving Naples, indulge in a slice of a Neapolitan-style pizza at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele.

Your third day will be spent on board your cruise ship, as you sail across the Mediterranean. Whether the kids are having fun in the Adventure Ocean youth programme, the teens experiencing Laser Tag: Clash for the Crystal City or you’re just relaxing in an exclusive lounge there is more than enough entertainment for all ages. If your family are thrill seekers you must experience the water slides - the Typhoon and Cyclone, zipline across boardwalk, scale the climbing walls or plummet down the 10 storey Ultimate Abyss slide. As a family, you can enjoy one of the Oasis’ many onboard restaurants from Sushi to Steakhouse, Jonny Rockets to Starbucks, everyone’s tastes will be catered for with over 20 dining venues to choose from.

After a day at sea, you will arrive in Spain’s Catalonian capital, Barcelona where you will be able to visit the cathedral of La Sagrada Família, known for the sky-high spires and colourful mosaics. Walk along La Rambla’s pedestrian boulevard where you will discover souvenir shops, cafés, street artists and sometimes even Catalan folk sardana dancers.

The next stop on your itinerary will be Palma de Mallorca. During your trip you can experience the clear waters and white sandy beaches at one of the many serene beaches such as Cala Llombards of Playa EL Arenal. You can also explore the Cuevas del Drach - the dragon's cave before savouring some local cuisine.

Your cruise will then return to Italy where you will dock in Florence/Pisa before you return to Rome. Have a family adventure and climb the 251 steps up the famous Leaning Tower (you must pre-book), take a trip to the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral, also known as the Duomo, one of the highlights of anyone’s trip to Florence.

Price includes full board and gratuities, return flights from Dublin, shared transport from the airport to the port with Royal Caribbean and transfers at the end of the cruise back to the airport.
