Fuerteventura

This was my first trip to Fuerteventura and I wasn’t disappointed. Just a 4 night stay, we managed to pack lots in but you could certainly stay on this lovely island for a week or longer or even combine it with a stay in Lanzarote.

We stayed at Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura, an all-inclusive property in Corralejo. I found the hotel to be very nice and modern with a good selection of pools, a lovely beach close by and a very good selection of food and drinks. They also had lots of activities and entertainment for families and a nice spa if you want to relax as well as an Adults Only section.

With all of the appeal of the other Canary Islands like a great climate, good value for money and a large selection of accommodation, I really liked Fuerteventura. The stunning sand dunes are a mecca for divers, wind and kite surfers or someone just wanting their own piece of paradise without the crowds.

We browsed through the shops in Corralejo, took the ferry to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote and hired a car to explore this large island. We particularly liked the beautiful fishing village of Morro Jable and Jandia.
