Dubai Theme Parks

After a comfortable direct flight with Emirates from Bali we were whisked off to The Lapita Hotel, a Marriott Autograph collection property, for the last leg of our adventure. I immediately liked the hotel, beautifully designed with a Polynesian inspired theme. The property had plenty of amenities including a spa, gym, lovely pool complex and a good selections of restaurants and bars including a pool bar serving food and drinks.

Access to the four theme parks was through Riverland – an area full of bars and restaurants and a large outdoor venue for concerts. It was themed in four different districts including a French medieval village and 1950’s USA. A great area to chill out and relax in when taking a break from the parks. The four parks were Legoland, Legoland Waterpark, Bollywood and Motiongate. My personal favourite was Motiongate and I especially liked the Panem Aerial Tour, a 4d hovercraft motion simulator based on the The Hunger Games film.

This hotel is the ideal spot to relax in and enjoy these parks. Located about 35 minutes’ drive from Dubai and an hour from Abu Dhabi there are plenty of options for sightseeing too.
