Tenerife

Tenerife is a destination I have visited 7 times over the years and I recommend this Spanish Canary island to anyone.

The island has something for everyone depending where a bouts you stay on the island. The south has the best beaches of the island in Playa De Las Americas which also has all the bars and nightclubs so this resort does attract a lot of young people, especially during the holiday months. Costa Adeje is also a nice beach resort as well as Los Cristianos which will attract more families and couples. There is also a fantastic water park in the south of the island which is great for all ages.

I have stayed in most of the tourist resorts now as well as the north of the island in Puerto Del La Cruz. This resort is around 1 hour 30 minutes from the south. The beaches are rockier and this resort attracts more the older generation and mainly couples/families.

Hotels I have previously stayed in are the Conquistador hotel, The Abama Golf resort, Bahia Del Duque and the Compostella Beach golf 3 apartments.

There are many things to do on the island and my top recommendations would be Loro Parque in the north of the island, which is a bird wildlife park, with various shows and entertainment. Tenerife Zoo in the south. You can also go dolphin watching and take various different boat trips including a day on a catamaran.

You can also do day trips up to Mount Teide which is well worth doing and on a good day the views from the volcano are spectacular. You can see the whole island from the top and also the coastline of North Africa. For recommendations on hotels/apartments please let me know this is one of the most popular destinations that I sell.

This is a destination I always recommend for families and couples looking for all year round weather and within Europe and a flying time of approx. 4 hours.
