Planning that BIG adventure !

It’s been a while but with HOLIDAY & HONEYMOON enquiries and bookings at an all-time high I said I would take some time to wrote up a little update that might help those starting out on their Holiday and especially their Honeymoon planning journey.

Firstly, a little about me, with over 30 years of experience in the Irish Travel Trade and over 20 of these specialising in honeymoons there is possibly no destination or combination of destinations I haven’t been asked for. Every day though for me is extremely different and YES there are most certainly TRENDS – mostly I find over the last few years these derive from what’s on social media and that’s not always a BAD thing. But just because everyone seems to be going to the Maldives that doesn’t mean you have too. Dare to be different is what I say. Although feel free to drop me to the Maldives for a month – it's simply paradise on earth!

Many of you here are booking with me for over 10/15/20 even 25 years and there are also soooo many fabulous new followers each and everyday and one thing I always say is just as your venue for your wedding day reflects your own personalities so should your honeymoon or that next big adventure you have planned. There is no obligation to lie on a beach for two weeks.

As your very own Travel Counsellor I will take the time to plan and organize exactly what you want for your honeymoon or holiday. Planning ahead allows adequate time to budget accordingly and even organize visas and new passports if necessary. Even with a limited time line I will find that perfect holiday that is unique to you both. It’s amazing what I can learn by a quick call or a zoom at the early planning stages.

There are so many beautiful destinations available – more than there ever was back in the day when I started working in travel (I feel so old). And YES long haul is amazing if you have enough travel time but never forget those closer to home locations – Greece/Italy/Croatia/the Algarve have NEVER been as popular. We are finding though that Europe prices have increased and often a Long Haul adventure is working out less than some of the WOW 5 Star Resorts in Europe.

And for those that love something different and adventure a Hot Air Balloon Ride over Kenya, a Bush Rover Suites experience deep in the Serengeti to white water rafting or trekking in the Paddy Fields in Bali to theme parks in Florida I can arrange all those and so much more.

I get as excited as you do knowing I have arranged your perfect adventure. Over the last few years I have grown my team - AKA TEAM MANDY but I will always be at the other end of the phone if you need me (unless I am lying on a beach somewhere and if so there will always be one of my team or someone from our fabulous 24/7 Duty Office there for you).
