Dazzled by Dubai

It is not very often I return to a destination twice – with such an amazing world out there and a bucket list as long as my arm but I was very excited to be invited back to Dubai for our Travel Counsellors Gold Conference 2022. My last trip to Dubai was 2011 so I was looking forward to witness some of the ever-evolving changes that have occurred.

We stayed at the new Caesars Palace Dubai, not as well known YET as its sister property Caesars Palace Las Vegas but still full of that WOW factor synonymous with the brand…. At Caesars Palace Dubai you truly leave the ordinary behind. Situated on the new man-made Blue Waters Island with the iconic Ain Dubai as its backdrop – the world’s largest observation wheel. A luxury beach front resort with 1.7kms of pristine sandy shoreline, a 500m private beach with spectacular unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf. Caesars Palace Dubai is where luxurious stays, world class dining, indulgent amenities and exemplary hospitality awaits. With 5 outdoor chilled pools, 12 restaurants and bars, 2 beach clubs, an award-winning spa and kid's’ facilities, Caesars Palace is a true haven for all ages. Our dining highlights included the Demon Duck by Alvin Leung, Hell’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsey followed by an evening of Latino tunes and Mojitos at the Havana Social Club. Dubai is fast becoming a haven for those looking for that ‘foodie’ experience with so many celebrity chef experiences to choose from.

Dubai really is a destination where one can experience it on so many different levels. Also well known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture, and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline and at its foot lies the Dubai Fountains, with jets and lights choreographed to music which was a FANTASTIC way to spend a few hours before hitting the Dubai Mall – even just to window shop at Chanel/Balenciaga/Fendi/Valentino to name a few.

They say you either LOVE it or HATE it – the same is said by many for New York. Personally, I LOVE New York and Dubai too has so much to offer. As a stand-alone adventure or as a stopover for 2 or 3 Nights on your way out to or on your return from so many other fantastic destinations including the Maldives, the Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa, Bali, Thailand, Sri Lanka and more.

If a luxurious stay in exciting Dubai is on your wish list, do feel free to reach out and let us make that luxurious stay in Dubai a reality!
