On this trip, I stayed in the El Mouradi Hammamet on a half board basis. It is in a good location with some restaurants and shops nearby. I stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious and well accommodated myself and my family. The hotel is a great base from which to explore Tunisia further as it is only about an hour and a half from the capital Tunis to the north or you can also visit the resorts of Sousse and Port el Kantaoui in the south.

The hotel provided nice entertainment in the evening which is suited to everyone and very family friendly. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

The Medina area is only a short walk away with a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and is also home to Carthageland Fun Park. I loved walking around the little shops and haggling for some bargain souvenirs.

My favourite trip was to Friguira Park which is an Animal Park near Hammamet. There are various different species to see as well as tribal shows and even camel riding! I spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the park.

The one thing I didn’t get time to do was to enjoy an open air concert in the ancient ruins of El DJem, that’s definitely on my list for the next time!

Call me for more information and to book Tunisia.
