Hong Kong Stop Over

I opted to do Hong Kong as a stopover on the way to Australia with my husband and our 2 children aged 7 & 1. We stayed at the Eaton Hotel, Kowloon and it was perfect. We had a small suite which looked out on to the Golden Mile, so called as it lights up like Times Square at night. The hotel was situated across from the night market also which was really handy.

We thoroughly enjoyed Hong Kong. The highlight of the trip was our visit to Disneyland which was so magical. We also visited Ocean Park - Theme Park and took a ride in a Sampan Boat. At night we watched the dancing lights on some of the buildings overlooking the harbour.

There was an endless amount of shopping for both the bargain hunter and for those who enjoy the chic designer outlets. We only spent 3 days there but we really enjoyed it and found that it had everything we needed to cater for our family. The food was really nice and plenty of choice of all types of cuisine.
