Best Time to Travel to Bali

When is the best time to travel to Bali?

??Best time to go to Bali

Bali has the same summer season as we do here in Ireland. The months of June, July and August are their high season. It’s a great destination if you take holidays in our summer months or if you are planning your Honeymoon after a summer wedding.

??May to September are the best months to visit, temperatures are high the sun is out and there is very little rain?? This allows you to visit all areas of Bali. The beaches in the south, the volcanoes in the center of the island, Ubud being a favourite or indeed head north for a spa retreat in Tembok. The outlaying islands of Lombok and the Gili island are all perfect at this time of the year too.

??October and April are ok too, rain fall is a little higher but overall you should be ok, the advantage here is the hotel rates are much lower than in high season ( July and August). This season offers great value for money and you could stay in more upmarket hotels adding to the wow factor of your trip. Keep in mind the seas are a little rougher at this time of the year if you are planning on visiting the islands.

??November to March is the rainy season with December, January and February getting the most rain so really is is best to stay away to avoid the rains. People do still travel over Christmas particularly but the weather is unpredictable at this time of the year. Getting to the island can be also problematic at his time as the seas are rough and boats are regularly delayed or cancelled.
