I would like to share with you the wonders of New York as I experienced it. When I experience a place so amazing, I am unable to keep it a secret!
In April 2005, my husband and I travelled to New York for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. On arrival I had a stretch limousine booked to take us to our hotel - The Novotel on Times Square, as a treat which meant our special trip started with great excitement.

Driving towards the city was amazing, the spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline in the distance was truly 'jaw dropping'. Whilst in New York, we managed to take in a broadway show which was excellent. On Times Square each day, tickets are sold for that evenings performances at 50% of the full price so it was also great value. We also took in an open top bus tour of the city from Times Square which is a fantastic way of 'finding your feet'. We were able to hop off at each stop or if preferred we could stay on and complete the tour in one comfortable mode of transport!

Another trip we did whilst there was the Manhattan TV Tour, which took us to famous TV locations thoughout the city, all of these trips can be pre booked before your holiday starts so saves time queueing for tickets. And of course the shopping.. a trip to New York has to include shopping! There is every store you can think of on your door step - but be sure to take comfy walking shoes - you will need them!
This trip gave me a super insight to a city which I personally thought would be too busy to enjoy, but in fact it has become one of my favourite, and no doubt I will be back there very soon!
