I’ve been twice to Vegas and I loved it even more the second time. The first time I went I stayed in the “New York, New York Hotel” which is on the strip , I loved this hotel and would highly recommend staying here. On our first trip to Vegas we hired a car and went way off the beaten track but we had the time to do this. We loved that trip so much we decided to go back for a second time to get married there!
We stayed at the Treasure Island hotel which was fantastic and we chose this hotel because we wanted to do everything in the hotel and as it has its own Chapel we decided on the Treasure Island which was’nt a bad choice at all.
Las Vegas is the most popular city in the U.S. It’s renowned for gambling, shopping, fine dining and entertainment and it offers a TON of things to do besides gambling. Skydiving, helicopter trips, driving race cars at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and horseback riding in Red Rock are just a few. Shows are also big in Vegas, I’m not much of a show person but while there it was a must for us and I can only say that it was fantastic and would recommend everyone to go see one, we saw Mystère™ by Cirque du Soleil® in the Treasure Island and it cost us $70 per person.
When there you must check out the following .... The Bellagio, the Fountain show here is just amazing and you find yourself watching this almost every night, it shoots off every 30 minutes from 3pm to 7pm and then every 15 minutes after that, the best time to see this is in the dark as you get the effect of the lights which are more visible in the dark. This show is free which is a big bonus! Treasure island also has a great show that is free – it’s the Sirens at T.I and is on in front of the hotel at various times in the evening.
There is so much to do in Vegas I could write forever! Each hotel has its own unique thing about it that you must go in and see, we found we spent a lot of time in and out of hotels and were just amazed walking out of them.
The Grand Canyon is a must while your here, it’s just an amazing place to see and most people do it by helicopter but we did it by car. It was a challenge but an experience we’ll always remember.
I just love Vegas and will definitely do another trip there in the near future.
